About Christa
Christa Devenport is a worship vocalist with a simple prayer behind every song: that hearts would be drawn a little closer to Jesus. She travels and sings with The Shireys, a Southern Gospel family group from West Columbia, South Carolina, carrying songs of grace into churches and gatherings across the Southeast and beyond.
Her debut worship album, His Life for Mine, was born out of gratitude — for the cross, for God’s faithfulness in every season, and for the songs He placed on her heart along the way. The album takes its name from the greatest love ever shown: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13).
Whether she’s singing in a convention hall or a small country church, Christa’s heart is the same — to lift up the name of Jesus and leave every listener more encouraged than she found them. To God be all the glory.
